Code Of Conduct
Swing That Thing (STT) prides itself on providing a safe and fun environment for everyone to feel welcome and comfortable within the community. Therefore anyone who is associated in any way with STT or attends any class or function held by STT has to adhere to our Code of Conduct.

Swing That Thing: Code of Conduct

1. Respect. Respect others regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age or religion.
2. No Harassment. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated, including physical, verbal,
sexual or emotional harassment.
3. No Means No. You, and anyone else, has the right to decline a dance at any point (before
or during) which should be accepted by the other party immediately.
4. Space awareness. Be aware of your surroundings and take care not to put your dance
partner in any danger. This especially includes the use of aerials on the social floor.
5. General etiquette is expected of everyone that attends any Swing That Thing class and/or socials or event.
